Introduction
More and more brides-to-be are asking for a Lahinch hen party, and for good reason! This gorgeous coastal gem is one of Ireland’s oldest resort towns, so it a well-established town with plenty of amenities, friendly locals and unbeatable natural surroundings. The local pubs are packed with live music every weekend and are eager to welcome the classy hen party groups that the town attracts.

Local knowledge
One of the main reasons why Lahinch attracts so many visitors is the ideal climate for surfing. Lahinch has become synonymous with Surfing over the last 20 years. Its location in Liscannor Bay on the Atlantic Ocean coast makes the conditions perfect for surfing and, as a result, attracts keen wave seekers from all over the world.

Lahinch’€™s golden beach is a hive of activity all year round and has been awarded Blue Flag status. There is also a lovely long promenade for those who are not into watersports and prefer a more relaxing time on the beach or land-based activities.

One of the biggest wonders of the World – The Cliffs of Moher, are situated a 15-minute drive from Lahinch and are one of Ireland’€™s most favourite visitor experiences. Safe, paved pathways run along the top with platforms allowing visitors to view the incredible, rugged cliffs in all their glory. The exhibition at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre provides a wealth of fascinating information about the cliffs and the surrounding area. It’€™s a must-go place if you are planning to go to Lahinch for your hen weekend.

A short 15-minute drive north of Lahinch, will take you to the village of Doolin and the opportunity of taking the Doolin Ferry to the Aran Islands. For a Lahinch hen party with something a little bit different, this is highly recommended. A same-day round trip can take your hen do to any of the three islands; Inis Mor, Inis Oirr or Inis Meain. Almost all of the natives speak Irish and a visit to the islands will allow your hen group to experience the Aran Islands famed heritage, culture and arresting landscapes.
